Case Paper Company Joins Two Sides

Two Sides LogoCase Paper recently joined Two Sides, the non-profit organization established to promote the responsible production, use, and sustainability of print and paper.

“As one of the largest privately held paper merchants and converters in the U.S., Case Paper is pleased to join Two Sides, not only in promoting the responsible production and use of print and paper, but also in dispelling common myths about the sustainability of this important medium,” says Simon Schaffer, Director of Specialty Papers and Board. “Two Sides’ focus on factual information from credible sources is an effective way to educate people about paper’s true environmental, social and economic benefits.”

“Made from one of the earth’s few truly renewable resources – trees from responsibly managed forests – print and paper is the most recycled commodity in the world.  Nearly 68 percent of paper produced in the United States is recovered for recycling,” says Two Sides President Phil Riebel. “In addition, the demand for responsibly grown wood fiber to make print and paper products provides a long-term financial incentive for private landowners to manage their land sustainably instead of selling it for development,” he explained. “And the print, paper, and mailing supply chain supports millions of U.S. jobs.”

Two Sides is a non-profit organization created to promote the responsible production, use, and sustainability of print and paper. The organization has more than 1,000 members that span the entire print and paper supply chain, including pulp and paper producers, paper distributors, ink and chemical manufacturers, printers, equipment manufacturers, and publishers.
